ACTIVITIES IN CARDINAL WARRIORS SCHOOL
Educating oneself is a path out of ignorance. Education is an asset in today's dynamic world. We at Cardinal Warriors are committed to providing experiential learning opportunities. Education, however, is only part of holistic education.
In addition to being rooted in Indian culture, we ensure that our students maintain a global outlook. The promise we make to them is not only that they will be successful but also that we will make them good people. Creating tomorrow's leaders -- those who care about transforming the world -- is the goal of CARDINAL WARRIORS.
As a CARDINAL WARRIOR, you will be instilling in young minds an independent, creative, enterprising value system, which will lead to them developing into global citizens.
By offering a dynamic and success-oriented curriculum, Cardinal Warriors strives to cultivate responsive and motivated students. It enables students to gain a global perspective on a variety of matters as well as an indigenous perspective. To establish Cardinal Warriors as an ideal residential educational institution to serve career-focused students, the organization was originally founded with the purpose of serving them as an ideal residential educational institution.
SPORTS AND GAMES ALONG WITH PHYSICAL FITNESS:
A wide range of sports and games are integrated into Cardinal Warriors' curriculum to support the Cadets' academic growth. Almost all sports and games can be pursued in the schools. A variety of games and sports are taught to the Cadets, and professional coaching is imparted by retired veterans. A number of sporting competitions and events are scheduled as part of the academic calendar, in order to give the cadets the necessary competitive edge. In addition to daily games such as football, hockey, cricket, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, and boxing, the schools also offer daily physical activities. There is plenty of opportunity for students' creative skills to develop in these schools. With the objective of helping cadets make intelligent use of their time, a variety of activities are offered, including photography, drama, art, woodwork, music, debates, elocutions, and presentation. Cadets are required to undergo military training. A regular feature of extracurricular activities is Scouting and Trekking. Houses are where Cadets live. Schools are organized into Houses that each has a different motto and colour, which give each house a distinct identity.
ADOLESCENT EDUCATION PROGRAMME (AEP):
The Adolescent Education Programme aims to assist adolescents in coping with the stresses and challenges of daily life through addressing problems related to adolescents. To promote awareness, we invite guests to speak at times.
Crafts, pottery, and arts:
As with other subjects, Arts & Crafts play a significant role in the curriculum at Cardinal. A timetable allocates blocks of time for arts and crafts so that related activities can be completed. Children are taught drawing, painting, pottery, batik, etc., by our Art & Craft teachers. Throughout the year, artists leading workshops in different art forms will lead sessions. Students are asked to exhibit their work in impressive exhibitions during the celebrations.
Musicals, plays, and dances:
Hindustani Music is taught to interested students using instruments such as synthesizers, guitars, tablas, and flutes. The Cardinal morning assembly is filled with chants and songs. In the school songbook, the students sing the songs taught by the teacher during assembly every Saturday. They teach various types of dance. A team of external faculty members teaches the children local folk dances, which they perform in costume on festive occasions. Performance and presentation of NukkadNatak (street theatre) in public spaces outdoors and indoors on a specific issue, creating awareness for the general public. A theme-based assembly explains the importance of cause and effect in a short period of time.
Morning assembly:
We use our assembly as a creative forum for both students and teachers to interact and communicate outside of the classroom. Cultural activities like singing and chanting, performance-oriented actions [public speaking, theatre, drama, and skits], and interacting with the general public through science experiments are all non-academic activities. There is also assembly time dedicated to special/significant days, such as festivals, to promote intercultural awareness and respect for all religions. There are also weekly assemblies dedicated to specific subjects. These are ideally all-encompassing and are devoted to a single subject for a full week.
